TW spotting? Mine doesn't spot anymore since I fixed the dripping petcock.
However that FortNine does give an entertaining review. I do agree our "farm bikes" can have some fun road manners.
Just finished a wide ranging dual sport trip which entailed some commuting from one off-road area to another bout 30 miles over Ebbetts Pass from ~6,000 ft to 8700 feet at the pass with outrageous corner densities of about 20 per mile, a series of 23% gradient switchbacks and several places where the entire highway seems only about 12 feet wide. Racing through one corner after another was an absolute joy seemingly constantly recovering from one corner while leaning into the next. What a ride! TWs are great for this. I even passed a Harley!

I made it to within 1/2 mile of lower Highlands Lake before getting stopped by a snowbank on a north facing slope right around 8,500 ft elevation. Otherwise a gorgeous ride from my camp near Bear Valley. The TTR223 six speed engine plus tight ratios from 13 x 55 sprockets made for a friskier ride than stock.
Another good TW pavement ride is over Monitor Pass, the next range on 88 I crossed on my way to the Sweetwaters. More open and less twisty means the TW struggles but the downhill to Topaz Lake is thrilling. Both these passes have nice zones of aspens worthy of a Fall Color Ride.
