Hello

I'm about to send a Supertrapp exhaust to a lucky member who lives in Canada and I wanted to show you the differences between short and long alloy silencers

Here is a short model (the one the guy will receive)

Japanese riders like this one because it's less exposed to scratches.

And here's the long one

Hi

Sure, it's only for urban ride purpose

Most of TW's look like this there

Japanese use other vehicles for off road

Hi

It depends if you want a brand new or an used one, average price for an used one in good condition is about ¥30,000 to ¥35,000 including EMS shipping to northern america and bank fees.

Performances are increased and you can tune your engine using more or less discs and different covers.

I asked my Canadian friend to send me pictures of the short model I sent him last month

ok, here we are, the exhaust is just put, it's necessary to remove the front peg to fix it on the frame

work in progress

Gentlemen,

While riding over some of the terrain here in Arizona, I don't think that pipe would work out too well !! But I do like that look on a street bike and the TW appears to be a great low cost platform to customize. An amazingly diverse array of uses these little bikes are put to. Cheers.

I have never been to Japan. Are there many places where off road riding is allowed? What type of bikes would you use there? I've owned and used a bunch of dirtbikes over the last 40 years and the TW is an excellent trail bike but it's interesting to see what is preferred off road in the country where the bikes are made.

I'm more likely to go with something that mounts more like stock, so i can still take it off-road. The great thing about the TW and why I'm glad I have it is, it's a great little street beater but you can easily whip it up over the curb & start doing donuts in a bare lot or open field
catamount's TW is a great example of a hollow-modded street beater that likes to get dirty.

I'm not a big fan of the supertrapp pipe. I know there is a limited amount of pipes available for the TW200 but this supertrapp is ugly. I think the Supertrapp is a good pipe for racers that need to deal with altitude changes and engine changes but I have no use for them.
