Hi All,

I was wondering if there was such thing as a seat from another Yamaha bike that would bolt on in place of a TW seat???

I am trying to find one in Australia and it is near impossible (unless you want to spend $450 on a nitro-head seat).

Cheers,

Adam

g'day Adam, I suspect a lot of seats can be adapted but I'm tempted to point out how MrGizmow located a solo seat that he adapted to the TW without major grief. You might find such a seat easier than a lookalike TW seat. XT350 and XT600 seats have a shorter nose and probably would not work, but many problems can be covered with a tank bag. You might pm eldavo, it seems he made a hybrid seat by bonding two seats together. But he may be a rocket engineer and thus capable of things some of the rest of us only dream about. Thats a compliment -- not a slam. Tom

Hi Guys,

I am not that tech to be making my own seat and there is some handy looking products in your site Sebastian thank you for you advice any how.

I just ordered a seat from japan for $160AUD- bolts straight on and is some kind of textured/dimpled vinyl.

Cheers,

Hi Adam,

take a look into my shop. There you will be find some cheaper seats (japanese import parts).

I order my stuff directly from the manufactor (ex. nitro heads).

tw-parts.com

Regards, Sebastian

Sebastian, if you would remove the frames from your site, it would be easier for those who don't speak German to translate it with Google Chrome.

Hi

There are cheaper seats from Kitaco, Daytona etc... around ¥16500, I'm also an Easyriders official importer and I don't think Nitro Heads reach $450

I will be back to Japan in June and will meet "Yu" and "Tosh" there, I will let you know about new models

I talked to a guy from NH called David, he worked as a webmaster on the English language website but Yu told me he left the company to volunteer in the earthquake area

Cheers
