5 year warranty Is on the engine (1 year rest of bike)
Redline at 10,250!! ( thought it was 9500 based on the rpm / sprocket calc here on the forum)
Came across a glowing review / test ride and the last page has tons of specs / dimensions ect, including this h.p. / torque graph which has convinced me that it is pointless to rev above 8500, as a downshift will provide more torque and h.p.

The Redline IS 9,500! And you are correct, revving above 8,500 is pointless for max acceleration....more like 8,000. The rev limiter is called "valve float". :p

"The TW’s long, flat “motocrossstyle”seat provides a high degree ofcomfort for long off-road adventures" HA!!! I bet that tester didn't spend an hour on it! Maybe if you're 25 with an iron butt.....

I'm running 13/55 sprockets and I can ride it to 60 mph and it's about 9,300 rpm's according to the cheap electronic wire wrapped around the spark plug wire gage.

Mrs. Admiral claims it goes higher than that...as of last Friday!:p

Nice to know that the 2010 stock front tire will give the inattentive rider plenty of warning before it "floats":p.
My 2003 front tire would only give me about 20 milliseconds of warning before floating and then flopping helplessly on the ground
