ive got a 1984 honda vtz250 that i recently purchased for 1100, but i dont like the seat position/ speeeed lol so im looking to sell or trade it asap. Whaddya think, sell the bike and offer the kid 500?



i asked "what happened to that tw?"

Could be a crapshoot given that it was kid-hacked, but other than the front end it looks like most of it is still there.



Looks like a single throttle cable. Makes me nervous what kind of carb is on the other end but maybe he only used the throttle housing from the dirtbike.

Not necessarily. IM0 that TW will be unrideable until you undo all that crap. The front end alone may cost you a third or more of his asking price. The entire front end he swapped ontp it is worth about 20 bucks.



If he kept all the original parts , the paperwork is straight and you,re willing to do the work to undo it the bike could prove a bit of a bargain at the end. Otherwise it's an overpriced parts bike. I got the impression that you already had a TW and were looking for a partsbike/project. Sorry.

i almost did, before buying the honda, but had to see what it was like to go 160 km/h. turns out i dont like it, so it may be time to throw some cash at the TW.



also ive had the tw listed for 2 months on craigslist etc with not a single bite. i think its a sign to keep it

lol i wish, dont think it would fit tho... good call on 500, ill see what he says. i recon the back tire and wheel, as well as headlight and wiring etc are worth 500 in parts... that and the dc stickers
