Hi guys,

As promised :

First I got my hands on a second TW
it was sold to me for a very good price because the owner only had it for spare parts. It had no exhaust,no battery, no choke on the carb ( torn off ). 1 wasted road rear tire and 1 wasted off road front. Seat was torn, and rusty and dirty all over.

My girl also wanted a TW so we decied to make something off it. I first checked the engine and after some effort it was alive again

I took all the plastic off - front light - rear light - fueltank - fenders

so this is it :

As you can see on the fueltank - the bike was originally deep red. We started to polish the tank so all paint came off - afterwards sprayed it with blanc spray

I putted a dragpipe on my TW so I used my stockpipe on this one. Same with the carb - because of the dragpipe I installed a Mikuni VM26 on my TW so my ori carb was ready for a new life.

The swingarm was in need off a paint job so it got one

I asked around here on the forum about steering pipes and this came out of it - the dragbar

The seat was send to the furnisher but I made a little mistake on that
it came out short. The seat looks awesome but it does not connect with the tank anymore.

I like to get a new seat but it's not easy to find second hand TWseat here in Belgium. If anyone can help me out on that, I would be grateful

but hey....come on.....the guy off the furnish shop did a nice job

The front wheel is not installed yet cause I have a problem placing the brake pads ( they were torn off the bike 2 )

Maybe someone can help me on that - on the picture you can see that one cylinder is sticking out and this is blocking the job.

Can someone tell me how I solve that ? The bottom one was easily pushed back into place but that one does not move an inch.

First time for me replacing brake pads on a disc brake so I have no clue

Try a pair of these:

Or a large C-clamp on the brake caliper. If that won,t push it back nothing will.

Looking good so far.

Nice job on the seat.

Hi yall,

It took my a while before I had more time to spend on the bike. Unfortunately, I did not take anymore pictures in between but I wanted

to show the end-product.

The bike was build for my girl so we could cruise around on a sunny day. We especially held the the budget very low cause all she wanted

was a reliable funbike. I installed a round headlight on it but it gave problems with the electricity so for now the ori square one is on it as you can see.

The TW is not very well known here in Belgium and a lot of heads turn when we pass by
and we often get reactions on it.

So much fun to have a TW

My girls bike :

Hi, great job! They're looking good.

Question though from a neighboring country (which would be The Netherlands, the country where the TW is basically just as unpopular as in Belgium). I see you removed the back part of the frame and installed the rear lights and the indicators directly at the back of the saddle. Would it be possible for you to post an image on how you did that? I'm kinda struggling with the thing, I'm also wondering what best to buy as a rear light and license plate holder.

Thanks!

What is the make/model of that rear tire you show here? I've not seen that one yet...

EDIT: OK, I'm an idiot.... That's a Trail Wing 34 isn't it... It just looked different to me for some reason.. sorry, ignore this post.
