I have a question,
I have a Versahaul carrier VH_55RO that i used with my 125 Yamaha ZUMA which i replaced with a TW.
I have not tried it yet with the new bike.
Has anyone had any experience with versahaul with their bikes before i give it a try?

Your Versahaul should work as well or better than any of the commonly used ramp style motorcycle carriers as far as ease of loading and securing the TW. The "arms" , or tie down bars, sticking out at all four corners provide superior securement. The Versahaul does seem to cantilever the bike's weight further away from the haul vehicle more than many other carriers adding additional stress to receiver hitch and suspension. But the brakes handle / bars don't scratch the bed door up :)

I was hoping that the Versahaul (VH-55RO) i have been using will work with the TW with its large back tire.
I see they sell a wider model (VH-Sport-RO).

Question about loading the bike: is it common practice to push the bike up and on or to just walk it up using the engine.
and do you use a couple racket straps to secure the front and back wheels to the carrier?

Push, no engine, I got the sport. Yes on straps.

Your Versahaul VH-55R0 will work just fine for the TW. The channel on the Versahaul has sidewalls that are angled outward so they will fit the TW's fat rear tire. I loved mine, but wished that it weren't so heavy. Mine had an anti-wobble bracket on it, but I still used tiedowns to secure the front and rear of the bike to the rear corners of the tow vehicle. It bothered me seeing the bike wobble up and down in the rear view mirror.

They have a second hole in them now for a capscrew (with a head that fits inside the diameter of the hole in the receiver, but is bigger than the hole in the hauler tube), it pulls the tube hard to the side of the receiver so no wiggle at all and they also have the anti wobble bracket but it's not really needed. The head of the cap screw doesn't allow the tube to pull out of the receiver but pulls the tube against the side of it, and there is a nylock and washer on the other side. Rock solid, no wiggle but yes a bitch to put on yourself. It also has the regular hole for a regular hitch pin.

I have tens of thousands if miles using versahauls with TW's often pulling trailer as well

I now prefer the Sport model rated for 600lbs vs 500lbs plus the ramp is a little wider and slightly longer and the loading ramp is a bit longer although none of that is really necessary

I push up and I sometimes power up depending on the angle both are simple

I use 4 straps 2 front and 2 year for short hauls but for long hauls I drilled extra holes on the 2" receiver opening and I use 8 straps well triangulated

I have never had to tie the wheels to the carrier the angle of the straps are sufficient to hold the TW on securely

The anti rattle is nice because use the carrier as a step for my camper and I prefer it not to wobble as I step down on to it but once the weight settles the carriers rides just fine with or w/o the anti rattle clamp

If you have a camper or rear window make sure the handle bar end is 6" from the vehicle because they do bounce and flex and will dent your rig if not careful. If you want to snug the bike as close to the haul rig as possible unbolt the bars and turn them 90 degrees and hold them down with a few bungee cords wrapping the bars with a towel etc
