A fun watch...
No, but maybe you were thinking that bike was a 1973 Yamaha CT3. It had the same color paint as the 1969 DT1. The DT1 was a 250cc bike, the CT3 was a 175cc.Thought the '69 DT-1 was white? But that was a long time ago. Maybe I should watch the video tonight.........
Mike
I remember a white one on the cover of Cycle Guide(?) when the DT1 was first introduced. I bought a red '70 in summer of '72. The orange ones I remember were the smaller ones, 90's or 100's. Had a buddy that had a green one, 175 I think but maybe 125. Traded up to a 250 Elsinore a year later, lost track of the Yamaha Enduros after that. No, but maybe you were thinking that bike was a 1973 Yamaha CT3. It had the same color paint as the 1969 DT1. The 1968 Yamaha DT1 was white though.
Oh, they’ve done that one too! 😁I'll watch the other half later, but for now, that's about all I could take. Reminded me of the movie, "Dumb and Dumber" Ha!
And get off my lawn!I'm halfway through viewing the video and I think they are nuts. First, in WINTER?! They have a support truck but no spare parts that are prone to breakage: levers, shifters, etc? Carrying bikes across pavement, riding shoulders, I call bogus on a route across Wyoming via dirt ROADS. I know they said the only rule was the tires must not touch pavement, but the spirit of the trip was compromised.

(I've done my fair share of stupid rides in my life, but by their age, learned enough to do the research so the trip remained more adventure than endurance.)
Where at in Kansas and which North to South backroad route?I wanna do the same thing here in kansas. Go from north to south dirt only!
Not sure what route yet. Im in north central ks 20 miles from Nebraska border. Need to get the map out and do some homework.
