Took a sunday drive (in 4x4 pickup) with g/f up highway 16 (northern california) past the Almond festival (Capay valley) to highway 20 and turned on bear creek road. We ended up on brim road which looks to be the back side of indian valley reservoir. 3 quads and a 4x4 truck club went by us. This looks to a great place to ride and explore with the TW. Anyone in this area been in this area and know it? This looks like a great place for a TW group ride. I'll go back with TW and find a good staging spot for those trucking/trailering their TW in.

Sounds awesome. I'd love to try it out but I'm probably a month out of being able to take off for a full weekend day. My daughter was born 17 days ago and is making a zombie out of her mother and father at this point. She seems very nocturnal at this point. LOL

Congrats on your baby girl Josh. We need the days to get a little longer and warmer anyway so maybe shoot for later april. I'll scout it out when I get a free weekend. We'll have to give at least a weeks notice so we can get several riders. From what I've seen so far (and looking at a map) it looks to be easy riding on dirt access roads that look like they go right by indian valley reservoir.
