i did that with a honda 90 once, when i was about 10.... the dumping it in water part, not the waterfall climb. we (read: my dad) pulled the plug and kicked it over a few times, replaced it and it fired right up. it did sputter a bit after if i recall correctly.

That area is now closed to ORV'S!! He killed a Snail Darter when the bike fell in.
