I don't know of the name. I have a Milwaukee and it's OK. The "Master" brand was one of the big ones and IIRC, either Master bought out a bunch of the other ones-or it was the other way around. As for usage recommendations, I would have to know of what you were trying to do. HTH. OM
Steinel is a very good one....a little expensive. I've got a Master 1000/750 degree F that I've had for 30 years and it's always been very reliable. It has an adjustable stand that makes it handy to use without having to hold it. I like that feature a lot. It looks almost identical to this Bosch except it's red.
I've heard of Master.....any idea who makes it (U.S.A or China?). IIRC,never heard of that brand?.I'll mainly being using it for plactics and shrink tubing (weather insulating type).And of course other things will come up along the way!.
