Found this nice chart for Adventure bikes at the "I'd Rather Be Riding" site:

I put the RED oval where "I" think the real gap is; the modern FI 400-450 zone!

Good read:

An older wr426 or a wr450 that has been made street legal would fill that gap pretty well

Correct me if I'm wrong but I believe the maintenance on those older WR's is closer to a motocrosser than something like the WRR. Also they aren't FI. Cool bikes though.

LittleBrute: I know it's probably out of your price range, but did you see my post on the new Betas? Hint: EFI. LOL.

MY BAD! THIS IS A 2014 ARTICLE, SO MAYBE WE WILL SEE THE 390 ADVENTURE IN AUTUNM 2015 (SEPTEMBER?)

Well this sucks!

Hopes Dashed for Release of the 2015 KTM 390 Adventure? - ADV Pulse

“From a strategical point of view KTM always considers new developments and for this reason: never say no. But currently such models are not foreseen.” - KTM’s Press & PR Coordinator in Austria

I thought the KTM 390 Adventure was a sure thing and testing was already occuring in India with a brand new design, different than the Duke street model?

From the Beta site:

2016 Retail Pricing

350 RR $9399

390 RR $9399

430 RR $9399

480 RR $9499

They added EFI to all their models. Yeah, a bit pricey! :(
