Well yesterday I put the new Amazon steel footpegs on. $29 well spent. 23 miles ridden today and my feet felt planted instead of on mini ladder rungs. Now if I can figure out how to get comfortable on the seat.

Boy I'm jealous of your expertise with mechanics. If my stuff screws up I shake my head then scratch it. My buddy helped me tear down and rebuild my 1964 Lotus Elan when I was a young man. I didn't have a clue what was going on but enjoyed it. My chainsaws make me crazy they are so moody, lol.

I agree, no mud for me. I say all the time, "I'm a retired Landscape contractor, I hate mud'.

The good Lord seems to send at least one muddy project a week my way at my new fixer-upper house.
