I'm six feet tall and weigh 200 pounds.



Saving up to buy a TW200 in the spring.



I'm mainly thinking about whether it has enough power to move me around in the city, keeping up with traffic at a decent clip, and off-road without bogging down due to my weight and size.



Once in a while I will go fishing and want to get up some river banks and through some creeks, etc., over rocks.



Most of the time, however, I'll be wanting to ride with traffic on paved streets up to 50 mph or so. No freeways, just country highways and city streets.



What do you think? Am I too big for a TW200?

i'm 5'11, 185. there's lots of bigger guys riding a t-dub and it pulls them just fine too. it's not a crotch rocket, but works great for what it is. test ride on before you buy, that's the only way to know if it fits you.

6'1" 220. I can go for miles at 60. It pulls fine for most anything I want to do....... Look at the travel section and check out how much stuff some guys carry.............. OMM.

No, you are not too big. I'm a tad taller, a tad older, and more than a tad heavier than you and I have no problems riding in the elements you describe.

5'10 - 260 and I have no problems. In the country I can easily go 60 mph. You are going to love it! Speaking of loving it, I think I need to take my old girl out today.

Welcome,I am 6' and 220 lbs and with stock gearing 14 -50 it does just fine.I would recommend taller bars or bar risers,in case you stand to ride you won't be bent over,plus it helps on long rides to relieve,"sore butt."

Dub Fiend, I'm 6'5" and 260lbs! I can ride my Tdub at 55mph with my son on the back and pulling a trailer!!! It can do it, it's not fast getting there and the engine is up near it's max rpm.. With it's super low first gear, it can climb steep single track trails also with my son on the back pulling a trailer!! All with the stock gearing!!



As long as you don't expect rocket fast acceleration, the Tdub is a great all around bike! Like mentioned above, you NEED to raise the bars. Wide footpegs are also a great idea.
