I was out riding and getting my feet wet. Rode from 6-8,000 ft elevation thru a few creeks, rough washed out, rocky trails..but in the end..the waterfall was spectacular.

Yep and i think i bought the cheaper ones by mistake. I did bring the stock foot pegs and pin's just in case. I ended up just putting a new pin in and using the broken peg and it seemed to hold up the whole ride.

8500 feet and no snow
. You're living the good life. Great pictures of some pretty serious off-road. Thanks for taking us on a fine adventure............... Gerry (4200' with snow in the shadows)

Get the D2Moto pegs. I've nailed both of mine hard enough to bend the brackets, nary a scratch on the pegs.

Where exactly was that ride?

Is taking a nap a honey-do? That's what I was doing while you were riding.

Looked like a pretty rugged ride, with some great scenery. I see a few photo's of the TW's front wheel off the ground. If mine would be off the ground, it would be purely by accident.

Hope your footpeg was the only thing broken. In my case a few years back, footpeg no damage, but I had a broken foot!

Thanks for sharing, a fun time had by all I imagine.

I wear steel toe boots( i cant stand mx riding boots) and i have hit several rocks but nothing that made me stop and hop around then fall and flop like a fish ((((yet))))!

Awesome pictures! From the looks of it you guys had a beautiful day. We sure could use a little more of that sunshine you had and a little less rain.....
No thanks..you can keep the rain!

I was actually enjoying seeing the pine trees with blue sky in the background. Most of the time when im riding up north there's dark skys and big thunderheads and within a few hours its windy and raining. Monsoon season is sure pretty up north but you can get soaked in a matter of minutes. Sunshine in the west, grey and nasty on the east.

It was another GREAT day. And it will be my last for a few weeks as I get ready for a different type of motoring event. If I get a chance I'll post up in the Off Topic section.
