For all my freezing friends it was 85 degrees with a 10-12 mph SW breeze today in Central Florida. Under a few passing clouds, I spent considerable time picking up pine cones that the breeze detached from my many pine trees. Did you know pine cones burn like charcoal, slow and steady once lit, and are useful for cooking? Just one more piece of crap to know in case you were interested.

Speaking of crap.....and LOTS of it. Seems there are some tweet birds that have found themselves in my car mirrors.....and chitting all over my upper doors. Maybe they think it's another bird....I don't know, but I'm ready to get the BB gun to their little tweet azzes!!! Luckily....knock on wood.... they haven't bombed the truck....yet.

For the record....love tweet birds, just not the ones that chit on my vehicles.

We have a mocking bird that wants to fight his image on the brass kickplate on our front door. Poops purple from eating poke weed berries. A lot.

About 70deg here today and sunny, unseasonably warm.
Just had to ride about 25 mi. on some backroads.
Felt like a young man.
But I didn't look any younger when I got home.
