The bike is 82.3" long and 44" high, the cargo area is 72" long and 32" high. With the front tire removed and at an angle it might fit, but sounds like way more trouble than it's worth. Leaking oil and gas, dirt, chunks of asphalt, sharp metal objects on the bike close to the cloth interior of the suv kinda spells out disaster.
The Rav4's towing capacity is 1500 pounds. Maximum hitch load is 150 pounds. A carrier would be a stupid choice for this vehicle, especially since if you are involved in a crash the overloaded hitch would shift the preponderance of blame to you. Your safest option is a small trailer.
