Thanks, Admiral. I measured several waste baskets at Wal Mart and it never occured to me to just find the right bottom size and cut the rest to fit......Duh......

Thanks, DonBenito, glad you found the write up useful. I'm very happy with the 2 sets of these bags we've got. I did the wastepaper basket mod as well. Long distance rider, I checked my local WalMart for the Servalite 5.2 gal/ 20 liter basket. They had them in stock in both black and white. It comes with a pop up lid, just throw that part out.

Long time lurker...

I have these bags on my DR650 and they are indestructable. Totally waterproof, dust proof, idiot proof.

I've thrown my DR down dirt roads and the bags just laugh.



There's a cool mod that involves your bags and a couple wastebaskets. Keeps the bags strong even when empty.



Google 'Wolfman wastebasket mod'. BigDog explains it in his WR250R mods list.
