If I were to change the sprocket setup to a 15/50 could I still run my tdub wide open without damaging the motor

That is my setup. 15/50. I ride WFO on the freeway a lot.

Watch the oil level, and realize it will get lousy gas mileage running that hard.

Since I've had Tdub my body weight has varied between 170 and 280 pounds. Small changes in sprocket ratio won't make any change in maximum speed with a stock engine. Though the TW has a nice, wide powerband, it simply does not make enough power to pull redline in most cases with stock sprockets. Changing the sprocket ratio a little simply changes engine rpm without changing the amount of torque the engine puts to the ground, so speed doesn't change.
