Hi All,



I know, a longshot here, but I want to purchase a Maxxis 6006 130/80-18 for a front tire replacement. Tried all the available options, online dealers, eBay, Craigs, local stores, so I am hoping that someone here has stockpiled a few away when you actually could get them, and could be persuaded to part with one for a reasonable price.

Smalltires.com had some a month or so ago, but I didn't buy it because I didn't want to pay the 30 dollar or so shipping fee. I went with the Dunlop 606 120/90=18 for my Dad's bike. Its a sweet tire too!

Thanks. How does the 606 do on the road?

About 20-30% of our riding is street to get to the mountains.

At other forums ppl seem to like the 606 as a rear, but not as the front. Of course we use the rear AS the front so it should be great.

I've taken the OEM front tire places it should not be, and a more aggressive tread is definitely a necessity.

Actually neither my Dad nor I have used his bike after I put the 606 on. Its still brand new!
