I am in a bind* and need either a head (w/ all associated bits) or just a whole motor that a head/cam/etc can be scavenged from.

If you are the person that can make my dreams come true (long walks on the beach and dinner/wine not required) please let me know here in this thread or send me a PM.

Will of course be forever in your debt, you can have my first and third born children, and if you are up this way maybe the wife can be convinced to give you a kiss (don't count on it though).

*all puns fully intended

Can pay by paypal, shillings, money order, bank transfer from offshore account, stacks of dirty money, wampum, or by "disappearing" a person of your choice.

Where are you located? I may be interested in making a deal. Oh and, if I don't respond on here within a couple days, feel free to send me a PM about this.

Saw this on the New Hampshire Craigslist. I don't know anything about it.

Thanks for the link!

Given the unknown condition, would prefer to hold out for something known-good.

How about this: does anybody have a cam and rocker in decent shape? My cam is fused to the aluminum "collar" that sits in the cam sprocket area of the head, has the chrome worn off one lobe, and the rocker is similarly worn.

I believe there is nothing wrong with my head (not sure if cam "collar" area is buggered) but was hoping someone had a complete setup laying around that could be slapped on so I can get riding again.

Basically trying to avoid paying $230 for the minimum amount of parts needed to get my head in good shape...

Thanks in advance

My motor ran perfectly but would cut out after several minutes usually due to some electrical problem. If you want I can even make a video of the engine running (it's still in the bike). I am almost certain now (ironically after trying several things and finally giving up and deciding to part the bike out), without running tests, that the generator is the problem. My friend had the same issue with his CR500. Anyway, I'm willing to sell my complete cylinder head (from a 2007 TW200) for $150 plus shipping (which, admittedly, might be a bitch, since you're on the opposite end of the country...).

I'll take it! pending video of the bike running I guess

Any way you can get a shipping quote to 13676?

Would take the whole bike of your hands, if you weren't so dang far away...

Thanks muchly! Haven't had the kids yet but will let you know when we are expecting. The wife says "no way i'm kissing some stranger from the internet" -- sorry

I'll go make a video right now (although the battery is 100 percent flat, so I have to pop start it).

Well so far you are the greatest seller on the internet
Certainly didn't expect that involved of a video but it looks like the bike runs fine

Just to confirm, I send you money, you remove head from bike, and ship to me with valves/cam/rockers still in it?

Let me know where and how to send the moolah and what you need for shipping. If you can take paypal, I can send it as soon as you know the total...

Thanks again!

Haha thanks
Your description of this transaction is what I had in mind. I will get a shipping quote as soon as possible. This is my first time selling something online so bear with me as I do a little research and familiarize myself with the basic process. I'll let you know as soon as I have a complete parts list and a shipping quote.

I'm awefully busy these days, but I'm working on getting a shipping quote as soon as possible. I'll go to the post office tomorrow morning with the cylinder head and see what they can tell me.

No problem, I'm as eager to make this sale as you are to make this purchase. It won't quite fit into the flat rate box, but I got a "readypost" box for it. $30 shipped to your door. If you can PM me your full name, complete shipping address, and PayPal email address, I will create a PayPal invoice and send it to you via PayPal. I can ship this thing tomorrow morning - after I have received payment (totaling $180 - for item plus shipping).
