Been waiting for one to pop up on Craigslist but the last two sold within a day of being advertised in my area...so I figured I'd try this. I'm a serious buyer with $$$ in the bank. I have a trailer and can haul the bike if you're within 300 miles of Va Beach, VA. If you're offering a good enough deal I will pay to have the bike shipped to me if you're willing to help with the loading from your end.



I'm looking for somewhat low miles (under 5K), good running order. I'm okay with nicks and scratches on the fenders and other visual defects, but I want a good running bike....modifications are unimportant...I'm interested with or without whatever you've got



Can pay upwards to $2500 total, but I won't pay more than the bike is worth...new ones can be had in my area for $3,700 out the door (2012) with a warranty so I have to factor that into my decision

I originally posted this for someone a little closer to me but I thought I would go ahead and copy/paste it for you as well. Im right at about 300 miles from you.

"We've got an 01 we can let go of. We've had it for a little over 2 years. I bought it for my wife to learn on and she's lost interest and hardly ever even looks at it anymore. I talked it over with her last night and she doesn't think she will ever be into riding so its time to get rid of it.

Its got about 7100 miles on it. It does have some scrapes and scars on it but everything works and its in great mechanical condition. It is currently PA registered, titled and inspected. My wife does'nt ride it but I do take it out every so often just to goof around on and circulate the fluids so it's currently a little dirty because I had it out on some forest service roads a couple weeks ago.

It's been on a battery tender and kept in a garage as long as Ive had it. It was also garaged by the previous owner. It's got a nice custom made rack on the back (it was on it when I got it) and Ive got a magnetic tank bag and a service manual I'll let go with it, as well as the tool kit.

I live in Waynesboro PA. Ive got a trailer so I can work with you if you want to meet someplace. I'd like to get $1200 for it. Here are a couple of pic from last summer. It has changed little since last year but it does have two matching TW mirrors now and a different brake lever. I'll clean it up and take some more recent pics if you're interested."
