Digging around some old files I found this list of Yamaha OEM wheel sprockets that will fit the TW wheel hub. I've always had good service from OEM Yamaha sprockets and pricing from online sources is usually competitive with aftermarket. I don't remember how I figured what would fit and what wouldn't--probably went to an aftermarket suppliers engineering drawings and compared the bolt circles and chain size to develop a list of bikes with the same parameters. Anywho, the tooth count is the last 2 digits of the second set of numbers; i. e., 248-25445-10-00 is 45T. 248-25451-10-00 is 51T. If memory serves, in those instances where a number has been superceded, both the old and new numbers are listed. Some sprockets are black, some are silver--depends on year on some models. The following tooth counts are available from Yamaha: 42, 44, 45, 47, 48, 49, 50, 51, 53, 55. I've eyeballed several of these numbers side-by-side and not yet found any fitment problems, but be sure to double check before plunking your money down.

I just ordered the JT Steel 52T from jawzys last night. Yamaha doesn't seem to make a 52 that will fit.

Your parts person can log onto the Yamaha system and do a search.By typing in a part number it will tell them all the models and years it will fit. That's how I was able to find that the clutch/disc brake levers for the Dub where the same as the YZ-85. Using that info. I was able to order an aftermarket set that listed the YZ-85 but not the T.W.

That system supposedly only works if the parts interchange. Sprockets with different tooth counts do not interchange, but they will still bolt up if someone wants to change final drive ratio.

True. Sometimes you have to do a little more home work but if you know how to use the system it can give some good places to start.
