Gary L, I can't help you with parts, but I will advise you to take a good and careful look at the intake manifold. Mine had deteriorated to the point of being cracked and leaking. My solution was to custom build a new one which was done at the shop. I mention this because it is easy to miss unless you're looking the manifold over rather closely. Also be advised they don't handle like you might expect, at least I hadn't expected it. The steering feels heavy and rather quick to me, likely owing to the extra grip of the front tire and will probably feel even more so with aired down tires. It takes a little getting used to. It's more like a two wheel tractor, but I do enjoy mine. Congratulations and good luck. :)

I would love to help but doubt if I will be of much help as I don't wrench on mine myself these days. I still have it but my BW350 was in very good condition when I bought it, except for the manifold. I took it to a motorcycle shop and had them go through it. All mine really needed besides the manifold was a carburetor cleaning, new sprockets, chains and some loving. I put a bigger foot on the kickstand, a chain oiler, some handlebar risers and hand guards and that's about it. The best advice I can give you would be to find a good manual and given your wiring issue you may want to see if you can find a main wiring harness, or whatever partial harness would replace your butchered one.

I currently live in Trenton, IL, near St Louis MO. I grew up in Auburn and Oswego NY through High School. I just sent you a PM as well that includes my e-mail.

Here is an ADVRider link that I kept on the BW350 which I annotated as having good info on parts and rebuilding, you might look through it. https://advrider.com/f/threads/the-bigwheel-thread-yamaha-bw350-bw200.657448/

I see someone already gave you a fattireconversion link, here is mine. http://www.fattireconversions.com/. Also the following links may give you some help if you need CDI sources. Products and SPARKER DC-CDI - IgniTech P?elou?

Good luck with your newest passion my brother. :)
