I heard that to mount Tusk Hand Guards to Pro Taper bars some work needs to be done to the inserts. Has anyone come across this and if so what did you have to do?

I had a terrible time putting the Tusk D-Flex handguards on my Zong. Lots of drilling and grinding.
Had to drill out the end of the bars to get the inserts to fit.
But I didn't have Pro Taper bars
Hopefully your installation will go much smoother.

But the last post says the Tusk Pro hand guards won't work....... the D-Flex should.
